screenshots of slides/highlights of roadmap for time poor peeps:
not sure about you guys but im hyped !!!
- Overall more App like and better User experience - Front End (pages) and Back End (database ), Security and Controls (lock tables & columns, hidden controls and search)
- doc performance (increased rows, speed in loading and usability of docs when complex calcs involved)
- mobile app - lane mentioned towards the end, they are giving love to it !
- pricing - shishir addressed this and the psychology behind their pricing models. For those who expressed concerns and pessimistic initial sentiments of merger, perhaps watch his response https://youtu.be/IrCxgdGlq-k?si=80Q-qFGwS-kN1TJS&t=2420 and come to own conclusions?
general takeaways - i feel coda are focusing on their “docs as powerful as an app” roots and for the AI side of things - it will be there to enhance your work and workflows.
Shishir’s concept of “AI being more conversational than declarative” was thought provoking in the sense that AI goes and does it thing in the other apps (conversational) and then can bring it back to you in Coda in formatted ways (declarative) via packs. kinda like similar to how one would work with structured vs unstructured data.
would love to geek out and hear whats everybody excited about! hehe
cheers!
