I work for a small community based non-profit organization and we have a lot of people in and out of our facility. For traffic tracking and emergency purposes, is there a way for CODA to have a “Sign In”. Think of using your membership card to get into your fitness center or loyalty card. Could I set a 4 digit pin to a client and they input that to show they were in the building?
Hi Caitlyn,
Welcome to the community!
I’m not sure I understand your use-case correctly.
If you already have some kind of system in place for access control, you would need to discuss with the admin/provider of the system if they have the possibility of, for example, sending the user id to your coda doc via the API every time somebody uses their card.
If you want to create a ‘sign in’ system with Coda, it can be as simple as a form with a couple of fields or as complex as you want it to be.
In any case, a good solution can probably be achieved with Coda.
Hope this helps,
Pablo
