When I try to open a Coda page (either normal or a published one) with Firefox in Android, the page initially shows up, but a few seconds later, it changes to a “not found” page. In the browser URL I can see the path “/unsupported-browser”.
I see that a similar issue exists since 2023 Coda unable to run in Android Firefox , but it’s still happening. Now is even worse, because before at least users knew what is the problem, and may think of what to do. But now they simply see that the page is broken, unless they get to examine the URL bar.
This is a problem for us, because we are using the “publish to web” functionality of coda, to have some documents accessible to the general public. And some of the users have Firefox in Android. And we cannot tell them to change their browser only to see our page.
What is mostly annoying for me is that the page actually works, because I can see it clearly and well rendered, for a few moments before the script takes me to the error page.
I know that Firefox uses are a minority in Android, but I don’t think that is a user base so small you can simply throw away them… Is there any plan to support this browser now?
Thanks.
