CrossDoc: Permissions for Actions

In the help article How to use Cross-doc actions it says:

By default, tables you drag in can only display data rather than perform actions. If you’re the Doc Maker, you can change the permissions to allow for actions.

How do we make that change? I set up a cross-doc action button and when my colleague went to use it, it gave him a confusion permission prompt he was unable to navigate.

Cross-doc settings for this are managed in two places that I’ve noticed.

One is on the button itself, choosing which “account” the button will use to access the remote data.

The other is in the Settings for the Cross-doc Pack - go to the Gear icon, Packs, Cross-Doc, Settings tab. This is where the accounts are managed and you can change an account between “View data” or “Take actions and view data”.
