Fix text editing, follow best practices

I love Coda, but the text editor is finicky and has some awkward UI. Here are the top things I would love to see Coda address:

  1. Double- and triple-clicking do not work like I expect. Double-clicking should select the current word, and triple-clicking should select the current “block” or paragraph. These don’t quite work in all situations. Just play with a modern editor like Word or Google Docs to see how it should behave. I would also like to see 4x-clicking to mimick a Select All (⌘+A).
  2. When I do a Select All (⌘+A), Coda should also select the document Title so that I if I do a Copy, I get the entire page (including the title) in the paste buffer. This means I don’t have to cut/paste twice and it’s almost always what I want when I select all on a page.
  3. When I paste multiple lines into a page title, the remaining lines should flow into the page. This is almost always what I want. Please don’t make me cut/paste twice.
  4. Hyphenated strings do not properly line wrap. This is especially frustrating with long URLs. Every other tool I use will line-wrap at a hyphen in URL. Any line with a long link is nearly impossible to format in Coda.
