Mobile Card View Toogle/Checkboxes Unresponsive – Web Works, App Requires Opening Card

Hello Coda Community,

I’m encountering a puzzling behavior with since today:

The Card view checkboxes/Toogle on mobile doesnt work properly. So I hope someone can shed light on.

The Issue

  • Inline toggles for my “Yum?” checkbox in Card view no longer respond when tapped.
  • To change the checkbox, I now have to open the card’s detail panel and toggle it there.
  • On desktop (web browser), Card view still allows inline toggles perfectly.
  • Table view on mobile also lets me toggle inline as expected.

What I’ve Tried

  • Reloaded the doc in both the Coda mobile app and mobile browser
  • Logged out/in and even reinstalled the mobile app
  • Confirmed the “Toogle” column is a plain Checkbox/Toogle (no formula)
  • Verified the view isn’t Published or a Synced table
  • Ensured I have full edit permissions (not read-only)

Questions for the Community

  1. Is this a recent mobile UI change? Could Coda have altered Card view behavior to force detail-panel edits?

A few days before, this toogle inline worked fine…

HELP PLS - This Toogle is a key function in my app, clicking into card is not a way forward…

I can confirm this! Something has changed. Hope they will change it as before. It was much more practical.
