More numbering options for numbered lists urgently needed

It’s ridiculous that the “evolution of docs” and “one powerful doc” doesn’t allow you to do a simple thing:

2 text
  2.1 text
      2.1.1 text

How many votes does it take for developers to understand that this is a basic document requirement?
