I’m in Coda then my teammate opens it and I see his profile on my screen. My screen and anyone else on changes to whatever the latest logon is working on. If I try to go back it pulls him off as well.

Can you elaborate on “my screen changes”?

It could as easy as the fact that your filters are set to collaborative, rather than personal.
