"Source" option is missing on new Chart Views

I am facing a persistent issue where I cannot change the source of a chart. The top-level “Source” option is missing from the chart configuration panel.

This happens even when I create a chart from scratch on a blank page, connecting it to a brand new table. I have tried creating charts using the /chart command and also by creating a table view and changing its display to a chart. The result is always the same: a chart without a source selector.

I am attaching screenshots that show the issue. You can see the chart configuration panel is missing the “Source” option, even for a chart based on a new, clean table.

This is preventing me from creating reusable dashboards.

Welcome to the community!

A chart is a View of a table. Views are directly tied to a table, and cannot be copied or re-used on other tables.

I assume that these different tables you have will therefore have the same structures. - Why do you have different tables? The general recommendation is that information with the same, or nearly the same structure should be stored in a single table.
