Create Actual Spreadsheets Inside Coda Documents

The lack of flexibility in Coda is making me tear my hair out! I need rows, columns, and the ability to highlight what would be cells in different colours; see attached example here. The powers that be have paid for Coda for us to use as a single point of information and sharing Google docs or Excel on Microsoft 365 is no longer an acceptable option. You can definitely do that and much more, just not the way you are used to. Coda works more like a database.
