[Any Update?] Render Markdown Table as Grid or Table in Canvas Column

Hi, I’m aware that this is an old problem with many existing threads.

It seems that regardless whether a markdown file is ingested through API or formula, the markdown tables are not rendered as either Table or Grid in the canvas column.

Current solution that involve using “toMarkdown” or “renderMarkdown”-type formulas works for headings and bullets, but markdown tables are not rendered properly as table or grid.

Is there any workarounds yet? Did Coda implement anything new to solve this?

Note: I believe this is 100% possible as importing from Notion DOES render HTML tables in Canvas column properly. (A Notion database’s page is rendered as Canvas, and all content, including tables, are preserved well, kudos to the team).
