Exploring Coda & Dust.tt Integration: Anyone Interested?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently exploring the possibility of integrating Coda.io and Dust.tt.
I’m looking into ways to make this integration seamless and efficient, such as automated data syncing or real-time updates from Coda to Dust.tt (custom AI assistants to speed up your work).

While there’s no native connector between the two, both platforms offer APIs and customization options (like Coda Packs and Dust Apps).
I’d love to hear if anyone has experience or ideas about this kind of integration. Are there any challenges you foresee? Features you’d want to see?

Also, if this sparks your interest and you’d like to collaborate or share insights, feel free to comment below or reach out. Let’s explore the potential of combining these two powerful tools!

Looking forward to your thoughts and feedback.

Cheers!

An exciting topic! Unfortunately, I haven’t had enough time to delve deeper into it. An important question seems to me to be which would be the best way in terms of price-performance ratio. There are other providers, e.g. Hyperwriteai.com, kotae.ai, chatthing.ai, getcody.ai to name a few. The cheaper plans are always very reduced, and the useful use is very limited. What I noticed is that it is not always easy to see whether a newly added source has actually been “learned”. Often there is just a message: “the source has been added”. It is almost never possible to check this (I think fixie.ai solved this well). Anthrophic has developed a new approach that seems very promising to me. Using “Model Context Protocol (MCP)”, various data sources are connected to Claude. In the first step, the servers that manage the data sources run locally on your own computer. In a further step, remote connection should also be possible later. This could lead to a powerful solution for using Coda as a data source. Coda itself is also developing its own solution, “Coda Brain”. This will probably be very powerful. It is just unclear at what price. This will only be possible with an enterprise plan and an additional fee for using the AI. I am still undecided as to which path I should invest time in for research and testing. I am here in Germany, which is a very price-sensitive market when you talk about smaller companies. Greetings

Thank you for your input.

I believe that dust.tt is a platform worth considering for professional purposes, particularly for companies with over 100 employees. Here are a few reasons why:

  • Performance Focus: For larger organizations, performance is paramount, and dust.tt has features that may enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Scalability: The platform seems to be well-suited for enterprises, accommodating the needs of a growing workforce.
