Could anyone help me make a formula or figure out how to open the doc in the same tab?
Here’s some background for my use case:
I prefer using a Chrome “app” shortcut that allows me to have Coda open in a separate window from my other browser tabs, so I’d like to be able to open docs in that same “app” instead of the links automatically going back to my normal browser.
If I understand your question correctly:
- Navigate to coda.io and click the ••• icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Select More tools.
- Select Create shortcut.
- Edit the shortcut name.
- Click Create.
When clicking on this new icon Coda opens in its own window.
You can than normal click, shift click or ctrl click on a document to open it in the main window, in a new browser or in a new tab in your “Coda app window”
