Chief Interoperability Officer at Onyx Technology, LLC (onyxhealth.io) where I oversee OnyxOS, a FHIR platform for Payers and Health Information Exchanges. OnyxOS is grounded in my industry-pioneering work at CMS as inspiration, architect and evangelist for the Blue Button 2.0 API that delivered FHIR-based Consumer-Directed Exchange for 53M Medicare Beneficiaries.

I also chair the HL7 Da Vinci Payer Data Exchange (PDex) Workgroup and authored the PDex Implementation Guide. This is work that defines Health Plans and Provider data exchange. CMS has incorporated these initiatives into their Interoperability regulations.
