I’ve been working in and around IT since 1981, working mainly in infrastructure. Some time in sales/reseller support, tech support and Head of IT roles. ITIL qualification in Service Management.

I’ve been through PBwiki and Microsoft OneNote, for personal note-taking and work and personal record-keeping. Particular application areas of interest are project management, fitness plans and records, and IT configurations, procedures and event records.

In a small business, the scope of my role is bafflingly wide, so I look to reduce routine effort and cognitive load as much as possible.

I’m now looking seriously at Coda, to get more structure and automation into some of the heavier-lifting parts of all that. Also interested in using Coda as a lightweight web site publisher and CMS.
