Aligning Rows based on duplicates

#1

Hi guys,

I have tow columns that I need to be aligned based on duplicates. For example, I have two columns with emails and I would like to align the emails in the same row if they are a duplicate. Is there a simple formula for that?

Thanks!

Here’s a formula for finding dupes:
if(thisTable.Filter([value1]=thisRow.[value1]).Count() > 1, "Dupe","")
Add conditional formatting to make the positives stand out.

Other than a Filter() formula that pulls multiple values into one cell, I’m not sure how you’d align two columns. But you could sort the table by the columns you’re wanting to align, and presumably, if they’re dupes, their parent rows will sort adjacent to each other, making them easy to locate.
