What formula will automatically assign a column a date? I want users to be able to input data and have the date it was logged saved after they are finished writing in their column. Would love some feedback, thank you!

You could just use thisRow.Created() .
You don’t really need to manually write this formula 
: Coda can do it for you !
When you add a field to your table, just look for Properties in the menu, you’ll find it there under Created on
