Conditional Formatting and Performance

I know that conditional formats can technically slow a doc down with large tables as they are, like any formulas written in a column, a formula that needs to reference a table and its information to apply the correct coloring.

BUT would having a view of a table and inheriting that original tables conditional formats further compromise performance of doc as opposed to writing new conditional formats on that view?

I hope that makes sense!
