You are right that for the time being the selectable options are too limited.

A possible work around for the time being you can find under this post:

@Greg_Farries I don’t know if we yet have sufficient calendar algo tools to do this to your spec. What follows probably isn’t exactly what you want, but maybe it will spark an idea that you can run with. The bottom table is the raw table where new memberships are entered chronologically.
