Hey @Michael_Olenick, thanks for the suggestion! Coming from Excel I know these formulas are super easy and handy to use. In Coda, CountIf, SumIf, and AverageIf can only take integers as a predicate, no strings yet. This was a big concept for me to learn and the quick answer is to user filter with the count, average, and sum functions chained to the end of your formula.
