Form's in Hosted Doc's

I’m having some issues with forms on hosted doc’s:

I’ve had a decent mess around with doc permissions etc… anybody else experienced this?

Hey there!

All docs in published play mode do not accept submissions. That’s by design.

If you want a published doc in play mode to still capture data you either need to do an advanced form style workflow (explained in the video below) or embed the published url of your form into the play mode doc.

With full page embeds coming as well - the embedding form option should be a really nice user experience

Coda forms aren't flexible UNTIL you do this

Thanks Scott, just to clarify, my Doc is in Edit and not Play mode.
As per your replay, embedding the published URL form does work - it is not very elegant, however.
I’m encountering this problem in both hosted Doc’s and just shared via published links.
