Knowledge Base as table with Canvas column

Hello, I’m new to Coda and trying to figure out how to build this demo knowledge base:

Here’s my work-in-progress

Questions:

  1. How are the “Open” and “Article” columns set up the model KB? The “Open” one opens the top of the article and “Article” opens a lower section of the page. I’d like to do the same thing but can’t figure out how.

  2. How is the top row with search categories and a search field configured?

im not sure what you want in question (1) but it seems you want open the row… so all you need to do is create a button column which open thisrow

question (2) go to the table option > filter > then enable filter bar which you can choose which one you want to be in the filter
