The mobile version shows groups in a very intuitive an effective way:

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out about this feature request. We’re unable to offer a firm timeline on when this feature will be available. Our team is always working hard on improvements to Coda and we do our best to prioritize the many possible new things. For that reason, giving a specific timeframe for a feature release can be difficult.
