Push buttons, actions depend on first button

I have two buttons Add Contact and Take Lead Forward.
I want to push both buttons using +push buttons" at the same time.
The first button Add Contact adds the details to a contact table and creates a custom number. The results row is the customer id.
I then want to take the lead forward with the extra customer ID. is it possible to delay the second button until the customer ID is added to the results row?

I suppose the question I’m asking is do buttons get pushed simultaneously or subsequently?

It’s ok, I’ve answered my own question.
Buttons are pushed subsequently, one after the other!
