What is the deeper backend for Coda.io, itself?

I’m learning about databases, and super-curious about this, now.

e.g. It seems like CockroachDB is a big deal, these days (Netflix is on it, or shifting to it, I think?)

Anything the codans can share re this?

I think the app I want to build will be too unwieldy to use coda as a backend, long-term, but it might be great if I knew what Coda ran on, in case it helped with any interoperability I might want.

As I understand Coda is hosted on AWS.

But you can’t really access the data directly through AWS. You’d have to use the coda API for that.
