Base automatic resize of column width on the actual content rather than the column title

I think that the current behaviour that the automatic resizing of a column (when double clicking the right margin) sets the width to the column title rather than the content is a bit unintuitive. I really would like it if this was based on the actual content of the column instead. This would make columns that contain long strings or lots of data easier to scan and read.
