Could we have quick resizing of the column width to the contents of the column rather than the header?
This would save me several minutes of time when setting up a new table that I would like to be horizontally space efficient.
My use case:
- Have a lengthy column name like Loan to Value Ratio.
- Values like 75% are not as wide as the column name.
Current behavior:
When I double click on the divider for the column name, it resizes to the full length of the column name plus the widths of the extra icons for formula and column type.
Desired behavior:
Fit to the column contents and clip the column header text or wrap it around if the column header row is multiline.
