Can I create a GPT chatbot between Slack and Coda?

Just got a request from an employee asking if I can basically turn GPT into an employee in our company slack. Basic idea is to have the ability to @GPTbot with a question and get a response.

Hey there Dustin, I’m not quite sure what you’re asking for here. Are you hoping to set up an automation that when someone asks a question in a doc, it sends it to slack and then an employee answers it in slack and it bumps it back into the doc?

What I was hoping for was the ability to send a message in Slack to a coda table with an OpenAi integration that summarizes for answers a prompt, then sends it back to Slack.

In the interim I found a tool called SlackGPT that works for my team. It’s essesntially a co-worker in our slack and we can add it to channels or summon it in direct messages.

I think you may be a good candidate for this: Coda AI: the magic of OpenAI and GPT in your Coda docs - Coda
Seems like a great use case for our new AI alpha.

David attended the current doctorate program recently to talked about his work and I couldn’t be more excited to try it out. In the meantime I’ve been mixing the Openai pack with the other OpenAI ChatGPT pack (basically v3 vs v3.5) into some interesting doc functions. Now I’m here searching the forum for any news on a coda pack enabling gpt4…

Just realized I somehow have two profiles here

Tempted to make a new profile as real_Dustin_Good for chaos
