Coda browser Error code 5

Am I the only one who recently have its doc crash often? I didn’t experience that in 2 years and my setup didn’t change. I get Error code: 5 on chrome with the recommendation below but it doesn’t fix anything as you can imagine:

Can’t open this page
Try the following tips:
Close other tabs or apps
Open page in a new Private window (43N)
Restart Chrome
Restart your computer

Computer: Apple M1 Max 64gb of ram.
The machine is not slow at all on any other tab open and only coda crashes.

I have only a non-M1 MBP but have you tried to clear cache/cookies ? :blush:

Yes I did, even restart to default setting of the browser.

does it happen on one specific doc or any Coda doc?

No, any doc. Even the community section. It seems it might be something specifics to Coda because only Coda Tabs crashes and not all of them some times.

Well, this is strange indeed… as Coda Community runs on Discourse platform, so it’s totally unrelated with the tool :thinking:

Could you post some screenshot of the error you get and share some of the documents that crash?

Yes it might just be that the browser see an overload on the domain and crash tabs. No idea. But co-workers also have the same issue and it seems it’s since the last visual update.

Hey Marc, what version of Chrome are you running? I have an M1 Mac Mini that I can test on to see if I can replicate the issue.

Version 1.38.109 Chromium: 101.0.4951.41 (Official Build) (arm64)

Docs crashes on Intel CPU as well.
