Column type different in column than formula?

I mistakenly changed a column from text to date. Saw the error and changed it back. But when I made the change from text to date it broke formula, and changing the column back to text didn’t fix the problem.

When I try to fix or recreate the formula the column, the column always appears in the formula workspace as a date not text (see screenshots) so I cannot get the formula to work.

FWIW, I think I have had this happen before…but I can’t remember what I did to fix it.

Can anyone tell me how to get the column type corrected in the formula workspace?

Many thanks, Gregg

Anybody have any thoughts on how I get my column type in the column to match the column type in the formula tool? Many thanks, Gregg

Try typing some non-date text into the first row.

But why do you need it not to be a date column type? What’s the full formula that broke? What was the error you got when it broke?
