Display/Preview Controls in a Canvas Column?

Hi, is there a known way to display the control (textbox, select, etc.) and its interaction if put into the canvas column of a table?

If nothing is entered/selected then the canvas preview is blank and if I do put something in it then its just the @reference.

If there is a way to create a table of interactive dynamic buttons, I imagine there should be a way to create a table of interactive controls?
