Filter formula from cell?

Is it possible to filter with a dynamic formula that is copied from a cell?

Right now I choose items in a select list, put all the items in one cell using RegexReplace(“,”,“” ), and I then manually copy and format paste the contents of the one cell into the formula field of my filter.

It seems like I should be able to write a formula for the filter to automatically grab the contents of the one cell, but I can’t figure out how to do it.

Any ideas?

You can refer to the location (textbox, column, row, etc.) in your formula.
Share a doc that resembles what you are trying to do and what you have gotten so far and we can probably show you how this is done.
