How can you create a Hierarchy in a Coda Table?

Hello All!

As my first post, I wanted to share a very useful way to replicate the Smartsheet style Hierarchy function in Coda!!

First, you will need to have a unique variable in the different hierarchy structures. For example, at my top level, I use :black_circle:. After that, I use :black_large_square: and then :black_medium_square:.

Then, you can have all your Hierarchy items in a single column. To expand or unexpand, simply set a filter that does or does not contain one of the unique variables for any of the hierarchy items. Here is a GIF showing exactly what I mean. Hope this helps!!
