iOS and Android Coda app (camera access request)

Hello,

I’m keen on suggesting a new feature for the Coda iOS and Android apps. I propose incorporating camera access functionality to enable users to scan QR codes, PDFs, or various documents directly within the app. This would also allow users to capture images. I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this.

While I’ve come across some workarounds involving third-party apps or Zapier connections, they aren’t particularly user-friendly.

Capturing images is already possible in an image column.

This would be CORE functionality for us. Single and multi-image. We would like to use CODA for our inspection forms, but it needs quite a few enhancements to support that functionality, namely: this feature request.
