Is it possible to create a dashboard from form responses?

My scenario is that I want to create a dashboard to let people know the registration status of different events (full, X number of spaces left). I’m making registration forms in JotForm with the intention of sending the responses to a single Google Sheet with each form being a new tab (this is possible and easy to do).

I then discovered that getting the “dashboard” sheet on Google Sheets to update with each new tab as it was added is apparently impossible. So! I’d like to see if Coda can do the work for me.

The data I’m showing on my dashboard:

  • Name of the Event
  • Date
  • Max Capacity
  • Registrations
  • Seats Available (and/or simple “80% full” or “registration is closed”)

I’m happy to do the work of figuring it out but I’m hoping someone can tell me upfront whether or not this sounds impossible.

You’ve come to the right place! It’s more than possible with Coda.

Reach out if you need any help!

Hi Amanda,

As @Scott_Collier-Weir said, this is definitely possible in Coda.

Forms update into a table, and that table can have any number of views created.
