Latex/Math equation integration

Hi all,

First off, I love the product. I am a data scientist and I often need to write math models in my notes. It would be great to have some Latex integration or some very simple math equation capabilities. If this is available, I would definitely move a lot of notes I have in Dropbox Paper and Lyx into Coda.

For our mathematically-inclined users, we’ve just added the new LaTeX Pack! This enables the LaTeX::Math() formula (and Math column format) you can use to render LaTeX display math markup into high-resolution SVGs that show up right in your Coda doc. Thanks - do I need to upload some file or can I just type equations into the doc directly?

You just type it in (in double quotes though, and make sure to escape special characters):

Try putting it in quotes so we pass it directly to the formula (instead of Coda trying to evaluate it): LaTeX::Math("The\ quadratic\ formula\ is\ \frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}") Example: [Image 2020-03-08 at 3.31.57 PM1]
