Make a button that fills in today's date in two columns

I’m trying to have a button that when clicked will fill in today’s date in two separate columns but only if they are empty. Is this possible?

can you have a look if this is what you are looking for? :slight_smile:

The button checks if the column is empty, if yes it fills in the date, if not, it fills in the current value of the column which is practically equal to ‘keeping the value’.
