I’m currently developing sections for different projects in one document. Each project gets a task table along with a Gantt Chart to clearly show progress. Is there a way in which I can pull data from all these separate tables into one master Gantt Chart to show overall progress for the team in one chart?
Hi and welcome to Coda. It’s worth taking a look at this thread as it covers a very similar situation. Thanks!
Hi,
I have exactly the same problem. I’m trying to move from Smartsheet to Coda and finding it pretty difficult to get a Gantt chart together that covers all teams.
The link you shared is broken, the video is now missing.
I am also wondering if Coda is suitable for project management considering this question is 2 years old.
I found a work-around or more accurately how this is supposed to work using Coda:
- You need to create a global table with every task. You can create this task list in a hidden page somewhere as you won’t actually need to view the page. Add a column for project, sub-project etc.
- Copy the global task table again on a new page “Gantt”. Switch the view from tasks to timeline.
- On your project/sub-project page, create a copy of the global task list.
- Add a filter for your project/sub-project.
Now you have projects/sub-projects pages with tasks and an overall Gantt page.
