In some of my docs it makes sence to make a table for viewing of information. But I once i make a table now, it will be a database table and since I plan to use multiple tables at multiple docs with only text field I would like a «dummy» table for viewing only. This is so i don’t have a bunch of tables to choose from when I need to add a real table.
Notion has already introduced this feature: a simple table for the structured presentation of content without database functionality. It would be time that Coda decides to follow suit here.
Need this feature, it’s so damn basic. I’ve been faking it with columns, but it’s very limiting.
Here’s an example, just need a small grid with separate calculations for each numeric value (which also can’t be done in the current tables).
