Push button or mark checkbox with keystroke?

Is there any to push a button or mark a checkbox in a table using the keyboard or key instead of clicking with the mouse?

Did you ever find a solution for this? I’m very interested as well?

I kept pressing combos on my Mac until I found an answer. In my case it ended up working with pressing (Option) (Return) together. I assume it should be something similar on Windows.

Thanks all, you can (at least now) just hit Space if you are on the cell as well.
