As a tech nerd, I’m curious why it only works on Chrome anyway? Are there really that many API or whatever differences? I’m just curious, what underlying stuff is only in available in Chrome?
It’s been a decade since I’ve ever seen an app that said it only worked in one browser or another, so it was always surprising to me, why only Chrome could work.

I’ve been using Coda quite successfully on Edge Chromium for months. But in the middle of the day today, I got an Unsupported Browser error in Edge Chromium telling me to switch to Chrome.Tried clearing cookies & cache to no avail.

Really sorry about that, definitely not on purpose! Something broke because of a change in how Edge identifies itself in the background. We have a fix on the way and should be working on Monday. Thanks for catching that.

Thanks everyone for helping us test this! You should all have an email from me with instructions.
@Oren_Kravetz for clarity, we updated a third-party library that we use to determine your browser, and the update changed how it detected the Chromium-base Edge. We had to update our code to detect the new value returned by that library. Really sorry for the trouble.
