Sharing not enabled

I open a doc to share it and this tool tip comes up. I am on the free plan. I created another folder and as My docs had no settings. I can’t figure out what is preventing me from sharing .Thanks

It looks like that in the folder settings the sharing options need to be amended!

Thanks @Jean_Pierre_Traets, I had to delete the docs and start again (well that is what worked anyway). That enabled sharing options. None of my old docs would let me share …
