Suggested change to "group by" feature

I’m finding that the “group by” feature takes up too much horizontal real estate. I’d love it if the “group by”, instead of taking a full column, just took up a top row above the section (like it does in the “top” version of “group by”, but scrolling vertically instead of horizontally.

Right now the only way to do this is to make several views with filters, but that’s a lot of work and stops working if you add/remove groups.

Anyone else share this?

This is a great suggestion that I think would help the current Grouping function deliver a truer “hierarchical” view in tables, which is a big need I have for planning. Thanks for suggesting!
