It would be great for tables and charts in particular to be able to override the page-level widths to have a more document-oriented flow. I often run into scenarios where I’m torn between optimizing for the tables and visual components vs the text, and typically solve it awkwardly with columns.
Ideally, I could set a page layout to narrow, then a table or chart to standard, wide, or full width.
I don’t publish many documents but I imagine the more blog-like / text-focused layout would resonate for many use cases. If I’m missing a (reasonable) way to achieve this, please let me know. The image here hopefully is better than the explanation and uses columns to show what I’m looking to achieve.
