Welcome to The Coda Community, a space for our best and brightest power users to join heads and share their work and knowledge. We’ve always envisioned Coda as a community of creators, and we’re excited to start it here with you.
Here are a few things to help you get going:
- Search for an answer first - There is a wealth of knowledge here, it’s best to search first.
- Create a Topic - Add your topic to the right category.
- Popular Categories - Some great places to start.
- Help us help you - Give details, embed a doc, start small.
- Starter Exercises - Fun sample docs to try making in Coda!
Search for an answer first
There is a wealth of knowledge already in the community so it’s best to search for an answer to your question first.
If you don’t find what you’re looking for, create a topic.
Create a Topic
Use the + New Topic button at the top right of the page. You’ll see this button on all category pages.
Just getting started? This is a great category for those questions that help you learn your way around Coda. No question is too small and we’re happy to answer every one of them.
This is a great place for nearly all questions you may have. This is the biggest general category on the site.
A great category for posting any tips and tricks you learn along the way where you feel others would benefit from the same knowledge.
Have feedback or a request? We want to know what you want to in Coda next!
Help us help you
Asking someone to build a doc is a big question and very vague. It’s also asking a heck of a lot from someone volunteering their time to answer questions. Give Coda a try first and ask questions that are stepping stones to get you where you want to be.
We have people from all over the world working together here, so it helps tremendously to have an example doc that you can share. This helps everyone visualize what you’re wanting to accomplish and they can jump right in to help out.
You can embed a doc in any post by copying and pasting the doc’s embed code. Here’s how to find that embed code in a Coda doc.
This is the place to try some examples and to get your feet wet with some Coda challenges. Some of these we also use for our new hire onboarding! They’re fun and creative uses of Coda that will help you to better understand how various features work. And hopefully these will spur some new ideas and inspire you to create even more.
We’re really excited to grow this community with you. Please don’t hold back on your thoughts— tell us what you like and what could be better. We need your feedback in order to create the right environment for this community to blossom.
