I’d like the ability to customize the text shown on the “New row” button. Instead of it saying “Add Row” in some cases I’d like to make it say things like “Add Contact”, “Add Product” or “Add Agreement”.
This would be more intuitive for my users.
I understand and like your idea, but I assume that Coda expects that when building a customer facing interface that you hide this option, place a button and name it: “Add Contact”, “Add Product” or “Add Agreement”
The “New row” is just a quick interaction for the “Maker” to quick interact when building

I don’t think so. I think that both ways of adding a row are equally valid for my user depending on the context.
