I try to align name , quantity, and total to be in same alignment for each one using rightpad. But cannot do it? Is there anyway to do it without using table?

You can add columns (type /column on the canvas) and organize your data in columns, but it is not ideal. You can format your data as code, which uses mono-space font and at least it will line up. In order to do so, select an area of the canvas, including the formula, and format it as a code block:
