This would be letting us able to set a number list to start at 4 or start a number list at 1 if it’s showing up at 5!

This is a recurring issue for me and other users I know wherein ordered lists need to be interrupted – which would be solved by a “restart numbering at 𝑛” in the adjacent shish kabob menu. While you can occasionally cheat with a soft return—shift+enter—however when using a callout this method simply results in a larger callout (as expected). There is no way that I am aware of to resume the numbering.

It would be incredibly helpful if this were fixed. Microsoft and Corel figured it out a decade ago so I’d think it could be done.
And before that, there were add-ins made by several companies that did the job (I was an IT trainer at a law firm for a very long time).
I’m hopeful that this can be fixed. Also, I thought it might make this issue more apparent if there was a newer message in the message string.
