Putting Numbers in Front of Coda Documents

I am writing a manual and inserting numbers in front of the order, for example, 1. Open, 2. Select, 3. etc…

However, if a picture is inserted between the numbers, the number under the picture reverts back to 1. What is the solution?

Hi @Banghyun_Joo,

Use Shift + Enter to go down a line without creating a new number.

E.g.

  1. List item
  2. List item 2 [Shift + Enter here]
    /image
  3. List item 3

The image above becomes part of number 2 and so doesn’t break the sequence.
