Is there a way to change this black color that shows as background when field is set to image?
Also when field is link to image than the background is white, which is much better in 98% of cases (at lesat for me). Is there some way to change color or there is only default color based on field type.
I agree with you @Marko_Petrovic, white background could be better for most use cases 
Also, i’d like to add that if an image have a transparent background or parts those are shown as black border

This is a relatively old thread, but still relevant, since there still seems to be no way to change the background of images. The black is not really nice to look at. Couldn’t there be implemented an option to customize it?
